Have a question before you head out? We’ve compiled the answers to the most frequently asked questions here to help you plan your adventure with peace of mind.
Reservations and Planning
Do I need to make a reservation in advance?
Yes, reservations are required for all our activities.
During peak season, spots fill up quickly: we recommend booking several days—or even several weeks—in advance.
Is online booking secure?
Yes, our booking system is 100% secure, with no middlemen, and availability updated in real time.
How do I know if my reservation has been confirmed?
Once you've made your reservation, you'll receive a confirmation email with all the details of your activity (time, location, equipment, etc.).
I haven't received a confirmation. What should I do?
Check your spam folder. If you don't see anything there, please contact us as soon as possible (via text message, phone, or email) to verify your reservation.
Where is the meeting taking place?
The exact location is listed in your confirmation email.

Insurance and Safety
Am I covered while participating in the activity?
Yes, instructors are covered by professional liability insurance. However, each participant must have:
– personal liability insurance
– health insurance
You can purchase daily supplemental insurance through Lycea.
Gift certificates
How do I give a canyoning gift certificate?
You can purchase a specific activity or donate any amount directly on our website.

Can I use a gift certificate to try a different activity?
Yes, depending on the value of the voucher. Additional payment may be required if necessary.
My gift card is about to expire. What should I do?
Contact us: an extension may be possible depending on the situation.
Weather, Changes, and Cancellations
Will the activity still take place in case of bad weather?
Yes, activities will go ahead even if the sky is overcast or there is light drizzle. However, if conditions pose a genuine safety risk, the session may be canceled. This decision rests solely with the instructor. In that case, we will offer you a rescheduling of the activity or a full refund.
Can I cancel my activity due to the weather?
Overcast skies or light rain will not interfere with the activity, as the equipment provided will keep you warm and comfortable. Only the instructor may decide to cancel in the event of a genuine safety risk.
– In the event of cancellation on our part: rescheduling or a full refund.
– Any cancellation on your part due to weather conditions will not be refunded.
Changes and Cancellations
Can I change my reservation?
The number of participants in my group is changing. What should I do?
Please notify us as soon as possible so we can adjust our plans and check availability.
On the day of the event, making changes is more complicated:
– additional seats cannot be guaranteed
– participants who do not show up will be billed.
What are the cancellation policies?
You can cancel free of charge up to 72 hours before your activity.
If you cancel between 72 and 24 hours in advance, a partial refund will be issued.
If less than 24 hours have passed, no refund will be issued, except in justified exceptional cases.
What happens in the event of a last-minute unforeseen circumstance (illness, breakdown, mistake, weather)?
In the event of unforeseen circumstances, certain situations may qualify for a refund, subject to certain conditions:
– Illness: Please notify us as soon as possible.
A doctor’s note will be required. A refund may be issued, minus a processing fee.
– Vehicle breakdown: Proof of repair (from a garage or towing service) will be required.
A refund may be considered, excluding administrative fees.
– If the error is on your part (date or location of the appointment): no refund will be issued.
– Weather: Activities will proceed as scheduled unless the guide decides otherwise for safety reasons.
Any cancellation on your part in this case will not be refunded.
How many participants are required for the activity to take place?
Our tours are guaranteed to run with a minimum of 4 participants.
If the minimum number of participants is not reached, we may have to reschedule your activity or, if that is not possible, offer a full refund.
Participants and Terms and Conditions
Do you need to know how to swim to go canyoning or rafting?
Yes, you must know how to swim to participate in any of our water activities (canyoning, rafting, hydrospeed, paddleboarding, tubing, canoraft).
Can people with disabilities participate?
Yes, certain activities are accessible depending on the type of disability. Please contact us in advance so we can tailor the experience to your needs.
What is the minimum age for participation?
The minimum age requirement depends on the activity and its level of difficulty. Some activities are open to children as young as 7, while others are reserved for adults or athletic teenagers. The requirements are specified for each activity.
Do children need to be accompanied?
Yes, minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult to ensure their safety and the smooth running of the activity.
👉 However, teenagers aged 12 to 18 may participate without an adult chaperone, provided they submit a signed parental consent form.

Do you have to be athletic to go canyoning?
Not necessarily. We offer programs tailored to different skill levels, from beginners to experienced athletes. For most activities, all you need is average physical fitness and a desire to participate.
Is there a weight limit or any physical restrictions?
Some activities may require a certain level of mobility and are not recommended for those with back, joint, or heart problems.

Can pregnant women participate?
For safety reasons, canyoning and whitewater activities may not be recommended for pregnant women. It is best to consult a healthcare professional
Can I participate if I’m afraid of heights?
It depends on your comfort level. Some descents involve rappelling (abseiling).
