Terms and Conditions
1. Cancellation Policy
A reservation is a mutual commitment between Oxygen Aventure and its customers. This commitment is finalized once the deposit is paid. From that point on, Oxygen Aventure makes all the necessary arrangements to ensure that the activity takes place under the conditions specified at the time of booking. In return, Oxygen Aventure expects its customers to notify us of any changes to the reservation (number of participants, date, time) at least 4 days in advance.
Cancellation by the customer
If you cancel at least 4 days before the scheduled date of the activity, you will be refunded the amount paid, minus the booking fee.
If you cancel 72 hours or less before the start of the activity, the amount paid will be forfeited unless you provide proof of your cancellation. The booking fee will still be charged.
Cancellations by Oxygen Aventure
Oxygen Aventure may cancel a booked activity if circumstances beyond its control make it impossible or dangerous to carry out the activity, particularly in the event of hazardous weather conditions. In this specific case, you will receive a full refund for the cost of the booked activity.
Oxygen Aventure may also cancel a session if there are not enough participants to proceed. A session is confirmed with a minimum of 4 participants.
In the event of cancellation by Oxygen Aventure, new dates or alternative activities may be offered, in which case the customer decides whether or not to accept the changes. If you are unavailable on the new dates offered or if an alternative activity does not suit you, you will receive a full refund of the amount paid for the booked activity.

If someone in your group becomes ill the day before or on the day of the activity, please let us know as soon as possible so we can inform the guide. You will need to provide a doctor’s note to be eligible for a refund. The booking fees will be retained.

Art. 5 – Conditions of Participation
Our activities are open to everyone; however, depending on the activity and route, certain requirements must be met (age limit, ability to swim, skill level, physical fitness, etc.).
Oxygen Aventure does not have the means to assess its customers' fitness levels.
It is therefore up to each participant to assess their physical fitness based on the trails they wish to tackle. For more information on these requirements, please refer to the trail descriptions (available on our website, oxygen-aventure.com).
For canyoning and whitewater activities, you must be able to swim 25 meters and submerge yourself.
You must not have any medical contraindications to participating in the chosen activity.
IMPORTANT: Even if you have no medical contraindications but require special medical care or treatment (asthma, diabetes, etc.) or if your health condition requires special attention (fragile joints, back problems, need to wear glasses, etc.), you must inform the instructor before the activity begins and bring appropriate emergency medication, as recommended by your doctor.
Art. 6 – Insurance and Liability
Each instructor/professional is covered by professional liability insurance for their specific activities and for any costs incurred in the event of a rescue operation.
We strongly recommend that each participant obtain liability insurance and/or personal accident insurance from an insurer of their choice for the practice of whitewater and/or mountain sports. We cannot assume responsibility for each participant’s individual liability.
Oxygen Aventure, LLC is covered by liability insurance for all the activities it offers and cannot be held liable for activities booked through other providers.
In the event of a personal injury, Oxygen Aventure, LLC and the instructor involved are released from liability once the victim has been taken into the care of the appropriate emergency services, and any subsequent hospital treatment will be covered by the injured party’s personal insurance.
Outdoor activities take place in a specific environment known as a "high-risk" environment.
Each participant is aware that, given the specific nature of the activities offered, they may face certain risks due, in particular, to remoteness, isolation, and the specific characteristics of the environment (river, cave, cliff, etc.). They accept these risks with full knowledge of the facts and must adhere to safety guidelines and follow the advice provided by professionals.
The participant/customer is responsible for the equipment provided for the activity. The provider shall not be held liable for any damage caused by the equipment provided.
In the event of theft or damage to the rented equipment, the participant/customer may be required to pay compensation for wear and tear or to reimburse the full cost of the equipment.
Neither the instructors nor Oxygen Aventure LLC shall be held liable for the loss, theft (including from vehicles), or damage to personal belongings (e.g., glasses, cameras, etc.) that participants may bring with them during the activity and that may occur during the activity.

In the event of a full or partial refund, a cancellation processing fee will be deducted. The amount of these fixed administrative fees is €10 per person. 8.1 – Cancellation
Oxygen’Aventure instructors reserve the right to cancel or modify the outing depending on weather conditions or the participants’ skill level.
The activity may be canceled for safety reasons (weather conditions, EDF water releases, flooding, etc.) or due to any other force majeure event. In such cases, a replacement activity will be arranged whenever possible, or an alternative date will be offered. If the outing cannot take place, the full amount will be refunded, and no further compensation will be provided.
If we cancel the event due to an insufficient number of participants (fewer than 4 people), registrants will receive a full refund and will not be entitled to any compensation.
8.2 – Exclusion
Oxygen Aventure instructors reserve the right to exclude any participant who is intoxicated or whose behavior is likely to disrupt the smooth running of the activity or jeopardize the safety of the group. In such cases, the customer or participant will not be entitled to any refund or compensation.
Art. 9 – Appointments
You will always be provided with the time and meeting location, regardless of the activity. To ensure that activities run smoothly and out of respect for the other participants and your instructor, we ask that you carefully review the itineraries and other instructions we have sent you in advance. Please plan your travel time so that you arrive on time. We allow for a maximum delay of 15 minutes. After this time, the instructors will begin the activities, and no refunds or compensation will be provided.
Art. 10 – Supervision of young people (minors):
Unaccompanied minors:
Children under the age of 12 who are not accompanied by an adult (legal guardian) are not permitted to participate in group activities.
Unaccompanied minors aged 12 to 18 may participate in so-called “group” activities, subject to parental consent and certain conditions (athletic ability, skill level, etc.)
In this case, a parental consent form must be signed by the legal guardian on the day of the activity.
If the activity requires travel to a specific location (cliffs, canyons, caves, etc.), the minor’s legal guardian must arrange for transportation.
Minors in the CVL / CLSH / School programs:
The organization arranging the trip or outing must be able to provide the instructor and Oxygen Aventure, LLC with the following information for each participant (youth and staff member):
– proof of the ability to swim 25 meters and submerge oneself,
– each participant’s health form.
In addition, Oxygen Aventure is committed to providing the necessary certificates and documents for organizing the trip or outing (DDCSPP authorization, insurance, instructors’ certifications, etc.)
Groups of minors are subject to regulations that limit them to a maximum of 8 minors and 1 staff member. Each group of minors must be accompanied by 2 adults, including one staff member from the center and the instructor leading the activity.
Section 11. Gift Certificate
The gift certificate becomes valid upon receipt of full payment for the service.
The order form is non-transferable. However, it may be transferred to a person of your choice, provided you notify us in advance so that we can update the new recipient's contact information.
The recipient of the gift certificate must contact us to book the outing.
The activity listed on the gift certificate may be exchanged for another activity offered by Oxygen Aventure, provided that the value of the new activity is equal to or less than that of the activity listed on the gift certificate. However, you may choose an activity with a higher price by paying the difference.
The gift certificate has an expiration date. Once the validity period (the current year) has expired, the service will be considered fulfilled and cannot be rescheduled. Neither the recipient nor the purchaser will be entitled to any refund or compensation.
Please present the gift certificate and the registration form to the instructor in charge of the session on the day of the activity.
The tour will take place provided that the minimum number of participants is met and weather conditions allow for the activity to be conducted safely.
Art. 12 – Dispute Resolution
The parties shall endeavor to resolve amicably any difficulties that may arise in the performance of this contract. If no amicable agreement can be reached, all disputes relating to the validity, interpretation, and performance of this agreement shall be governed exclusively by the laws of France.
Any disputes, of whatever nature, shall fall within the jurisdiction of the French civil and commercial courts, including those ruling on interim relief.
