Prerequisites for this canyoning course
Outings are open to participants aged at least 8 years old in June, July, August and September, and at least 12 years old in April, May and October.
In addition, it is important to be at least 125 cm tall, weigh at least 25 kg and not exceed 135 kg.
The ability to swim 25 meters and submerge is also required.

Where is Termes canyoning located?
The Corbières massif is a mountain range located in the south of France, in the Occitanie region. The Corbières extend for approximately 80 km between the Pyrenees and the Mediterranean Sea. The Termes canyon, located in the Corbières region, offers a spectacular and unique landscape. Carved from pink marble, these gorges are lined with stalactites, creating a striking decor.
Located in the commune of Termes, in the heart of the Cathar Country and at the foot of the Château de Termes, it is one of the rare canyons in this department, offering an introduction to canyoning near the Mediterranean Sea.
The canyoning session lasts approximately 3 hours and begins with a meeting at the practice site, directly at the canyon parking lot in Termes, where the instructor welcomes the group. Once equipped, participants take a short 5-minute approach walk to the starting point of the canyon descent, which lasts approximately 2 hours. The session concludes with a 5-minute return walk, return of the equipment and a debriefing on the experience. Each step is carefully organized to provide an enjoyable and memorable experience for participants.
