Who is this via ferrata for?
This via ferrata is aimed at sporty people, groups of sporty friends and sporty families with teenagers over 12 years old.
This activity requires a certain physical condition and we recommend that participants check whether they are able to cope with a 4-hour effort.
Prerequisites
You must be at least 12 years old and at least 170 cm tall with your arms raised.
You should not have any medical contraindications to the practice of climbing.
You have to be comfortable with height or at least with the idea of gaining height.
Due to the nature of this activity, it may be difficult for overweight people.
Where is the Panoramic Via Ferrata?
The site is just 45 minutes from the Mediterranean coast and is located in France, in the Occitanie Pyrénées Méditerranée region (Languedoc Roussillon), in the department of Pyrénées Orientales (66) and more precisely in the sector of Fenouillèdes and the commune of Saint Paul de Fenouillet. In terms of driving time, it takes 30 minutes to get to Quillan, 45 minutes to Perpignan, 50 minutes to Barcarès and Canet Plage, and 1 hour to Argelès sur Mer. Narbonne and Spain are 1 hour and 15 minutes drive, while Carcassonne and Foix are 1 hour and 30 minutes away. Finally, it takes 2 hours to drive from Montpellier or Toulouse.

Located in the magnificent Fenouillèdes, this via ferrata follows a route equipped with cables, bars and rope bridges.
Participants are equipped with a safety harness and are supervised by an experienced guide throughout the course.
The route is suitable for athletic people, with sections of different difficulties, the first part being the most impressive.
Once at the top, you can take the time to admire the panoramic view of Fenouillèdes, Canigou and the sea.
The session lasts a total of 4 hours. Reception and equipment are provided directly on site.
The approach walk only takes 2 minutes. The ascent can last between 2 and 3 hours depending on the participants.
The return walk takes 45 minutes. Disequipment and closing the session takes 20 minutes.
